MINUTES OF THE RUTLEDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL WORK SESSION
July 24, 2017 Meeting

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the meeting was called to order at 7pm.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Brianne Thomas, E. Leggett, Jack Shingle, Marie Govannicci, Dr. Marlaina Kloepfer, Jim Jones, Council President Dave Waltz, Mayor Cunningham. W. Neill, Esq. was also in attendance.
Absent: Secretary, DawnMarie Bascelli
Minutes were distributed for review prior to the next council meeting.
Ms. Govannicci provided a report on the 4th of July activities. Many photos were posted to Facebook and everyone reportedly enjoyed the day. She thanked all of the volunteers for their help in various areas.
Mr. Shingle gave a report on Fire Company activities.
A bookkeeper was discussed and will be discussed further in Executive Session.
Streets Report added nothing new.
Mayor Cunningham spoke briefly on the holiday activities.
The Solicitor discussed the Tree Ordinance briefly. The matter continues to be under discussion and draft ordinances are circulating for review.
There was no Public Comment
Lighting was discussed under Old Business.
Recess to Executive Session at 7:20
Reopen to Regular Meeting at 7:32
It was noted that Dr. Kloepfer did not stay for the executive session and did not return for the remainder of the regular meeting.
Disbursements were reviewed.
Motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 pm.
