The meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

The schedule of meetings for 2017 was discussed and adjustments to the first meeting of year was made. It is now January 12, 2017. All meeting times will be rescheduled to 7pm. The secretary was asked to submit the appropriate advertisements and the website will be updated by Dr. Kloepfer.
Council President Waltz announced that the Borough Solicitor has resigned effective January 1, 2017. He will continue to assist the borough until a replacement is found. Council President Waltz asked that anyone having knowledge of potential applicants to let him or the secretary know so that interviews can be scheduled. A tentative interview schedule was set at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm on January 12, 2017. William Neill, III the Rutledge zoning attorney for the past 8 years, has indicated his interest. Dr. Kloepfer indicated she may be aware of an applicant as well.
Motion to approve the Salary & Wage Resolution: E. Leggett/J. Jones
There was a brief discussion regarding the staff responsibilities and the current coverage situation regarding the Borough Secretary position. Clarifications were made regarding budgetary issues and procedural issues. Well wishes were offered to Ms. Guilliano who continues to recover at home.
