Rutledge Girls Club

Rutledge Girls Club

Since our founding in 1972, the mission of the RGC (a 501c3 non-profit organization) is to focus on teaching area girls the game of softball, how to be a good teammate, leader, and mentor while having fun and supporting the community.

In addition to our on the field activities, the Club is engaged in supporting the community as we participate in a number of events including the annual Souper Bowl of Caring.

We have launched a Leader of the Pack Scholarship Award that our college bound players and assistant coaches can apply for to help offset the cost of their continued education.

Players are placed on teams based on their age as of January 1st of that specific year.

We offer an U6 In house developmental team who practice once a week and focus on learning the basics of the game as an introduction to softball for our younger players.

For our older players, we have teams that compete in the DelVal Youth Softball League in the U8, U10, U12, and U14 age division

Congratulations to the U12 Team for their Second Place finish for the 2023 Season!
