Public Comment
Joe Kadlec, representing Rutledge Girl’s Club—Softball season starts in 2 weeks, March 14th. Spring upkeep planning will be coordinated in partnership with Jody Roberts and a RGC Board Member. There are 80 members signed up this year and applications are largely closed (4/5/6 years technically unlimited). We will have field dragged for March 14th opening
Rachel Hezlep, 100 President Ave, shares thanks to the Activities Committee for the Bingo Event.
Tax Collector’s Report
Tax Report as of 2026.02.26 read aloud. Real Estate 28,832.85 Collected, 264,608.56 Uncollected. Sewer 16,647.04 Collected, 162,437.04 Uncollected. Trash 14,229.04 Collected, 138.224.96 Uncollected.
Adjustments listed on report based on one duplex being re-defined as single unit, reducing one set of fees. There are several similarly billed dwellings in Rutledge, but Rutledge Borough is unable to change this without a letter confirming this from Catania. If residents have a concern, they must reach out to the borough manager to have this actioned.
Mayor’s Report
Good Neighbors Update:
- Mayor Gamal Sherif shares updates around latest event and attendees.
- Mayor reminded residents to nominate good neighbors for the July 4th Good Neighbors award.
- Pastor Carl will be available for July 4th/CORRECTION WE HAVE NOT ASKED PASTOR CARL

Bingo Recap – 78 players in attendance. Thank you to Sean, Kevin, and Superintendent for calling bingo rounds. Thank you to Catania for their donation as well as the rest of the donations.
Council Vice President shares sentiment of thanks for the participation of the Superintendent.
