Mayor’s ReportReflections on American Independence. Mayor Sherif shares his appreciate for Council Person Sue Hunt’s stewardship and structure that consistently delivers a great event. Mayor Sherif shares thanks to all those who participated in the presentation. Mayor Sherif congratulates Councilperson Andrew Marques’ on the fantastic ad hoc Historic Committee events and his ability to energize and engage the neighborhood.Transportation & Planning. Mayor Sherif shares a summary of the updated daily traffic volume comparing pre and post Waverly 400 block being transitioned to a one-way street.

Parks and Property CommitteeInformation SharingTriangle Park: Stormwater Project Update: Progress has been going well, curb work was not completed due to high heat, one area remains to be dug. Aqua has moved the fire hydrant as required. Two thirds of field is ready for grass seed. To date there are no change orders.Letter from Catania engineer about basketball court: recommendation is to monitor situation until next gather phase is completed and install temporary measures if problem persists. Discussion around height of concrete wall planned for addition. Next phase will have design adjustments and fall and likely move to bid in winter for a spring installation.
