Meeting was called to order and Pledge of Allegiance recited at 7:3 pm.
Roll Call, Present: Heidi Sentivan, Jody Roberts, Marie Govannicci, Ken Torres-Zickler, Samantha Newell, Christine Gradel, Lindsay Reed, Mayor Kevin Cunningham, Administrator Barbarann Keffer, Solicitor Christine Reuther (7:36).
Public Comment: none
Mayor’s Report: KC read the SPD report (in binder); he mentioned that last week was “National Police Week†and that the Memorial Day event would be on Memorial Day at 11:30 at Borough Hall.
Minutes: motion to pass May 20 minutes: SN/MG, motion passed unanimously.
Finance:JR went over the bills list; motion to accept bills list: CG/KTZ, motion passed unanimously.
Sewers: HS gave a brief on the status of the sewer lining project which will be completed in the next 2-3 months.
There was a call to order.
Motion to open a joint Council/Planning Commission meeting for the purpose of hearing the overview of a MS4 study and best-management practices by Catania Engineering, ??/??; motion passed unanimously. Members of the Planning Commission present: Joe Healy, Jen Mickle, Jody Roberts, Samantha Newell, Eric Leggett.
Charles Catania and Kristin _____ gave a brief overview of the NPDES/MS4 permitting process. Rutledge is in the third round of the 5-Year permit cycle which requires a “quantifiable reduction loadâ€. Sediment is the primary pollutant of concern for Rutledge.
Also presented were options that the borough could implement with their costs to be compliant with the unfunded MS4 requirements.
Charles and Kristin answered questions from the audience.
