Mayor’s Report:
Public Engagement
Reflecting on acts of civic love and the cultivation of an ethic of love
The Mayor suggested a need to find ways to make it easier for some residents who have other commitments to engage
Mental Health
The Mayor suggested a $500/person stipend to support Council and the Mayor

Trash & Recycling:
Yard Waste Update
Sue reported more than 80 homes participated
Delco Mulch will process Christmas trees on Jan 6
Rabbit Recycling

Communications:
Aiming for a paper newsletter to be distributed before Thanksgiving

Parks & Property: DCNR Grant Update
HS reported that this grant was submitted – expecting results in early 2023

Activities:
Pumpkin grow and glow about 15 participants. Awards for best decorated pumpkins were handed out.
Tree Lighting – Monday Dec 5; Council Meeting on Tuesday Dec 6
Luminaries
Block Captains still need for 100 & 200 of Sylvan Ave and all 3 blocks of Rutledge

Public Safety:

Finance:
Resolution implementing Act 57, per PA requirements SN/HS – unanimous
Disbursements 10.17.22-11.7.22
The Mayor requested clarification on the police billing. It is billed quarterly and we are in the first year of a new contract.
