New Business
Role and Scope of Planning Commission – In the context of the Crozer-Chester Medical Center closure, Steve posed the question whether medical services for the community should be the realm and focus of the PC and by extension are there other threats and/or needs for the Borough residents that the PC could help proactively plan for like medical access, financial, housing availability, etc. Reference was made to the Rutledge Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) which addresses a broad range of topics including health / medical.
