Rutledge Borough Leaf Swap for Composting

In an effort to reduce the amount of organic material we put out with our trash, we are offering a Borough-wide Leaf Swap program for residents to share their leaves with other residents interested in composting. Raked leaves can be put out on the curb anytime on the Saturday of the event, in either paper yard waste bags, or plastic garbage bags. Residents desiring the leaves can collect them from Saturday through Sunday. All bags not ‘shared’ and thus removed from the street, will simply be picked up with regular trash removal on Monday morning.
